Kate's Italian Adventures

This is Patricia, Kate's daughter. I spoke to her this morning, and she asked me to post for her. We actually called each other at the exact same time and both went to voicemail. We eventually got connected, but what are the chances of calling at the same instant from across the world? I must be a lot like my mother.

So obviously Kate has not been able to (or cannot figure out how to) post a blog. She blames it on a lack of internet cafes. I found plenty on my trip to Europe last year, but that's beside the point I'm sure. Claude (my father) joined Kate last Monday and is currently being forced to reverse down tiny Italian roads due to the lack of room to turn around. Anyhow, they seem to be in good spirits and in good health. All I can hope for! They send their love and will try to post for themselves soon.

This is my first test of this thing. I've never done anything like this before. I'm not packed yet, weather changing everywhere I'm going. I've got an international cell phone and a complicated camera. Just give me my passport and I'm off!
